About VettedSeptic

VettedSeptic is an independent directory of septic companies in the United States, run by Field Notes Directories.

When a septic tank backs up or a house sale needs an inspection, you need a company that can actually come out, and you want to know it's licensed. We list septic pumping, repair and installation companies near you and show what we have actually checked about each one: state business registration, the state septic license where the state requires one, and proof of insurance. Anything we have not checked is labeled that way.

Every listing is free. We do not take a cut of anything you hire. Some businesses pay for placement; those listings are always labeled Ad, and paying never changes the facts we show about a business. See how we list businesses and where our data comes from.
